Peter Constabel PhD

Peter Constabel is Professor and Chair of the Department of Biology at the University of Victoria. He is a biochemist and molecular biologist who studies chemical ecology and plant adaptations to stress. He is an expert on tannins in trees and forests, and his team has studied these compounds and other phenolics in blueberry and salalberry, traditionally used BC berries.
